The cutting deck is only 14 inches which makes it easy to manuever, however if your lawn is bigger than a city yard you may want to look at a larger cutting deck of 18-20 inches.

The American 1204 Reel Lawnmower has received mixed reviews with about 80% positive from people who have purchased and also use (used) the mower. The online reviews are mostly good and all say to keep in mind the very affordable price. Many have commented on how easy it is to assemble and how their young children are able to use without worrying for their safety. One reviewer stated there were some tall plants that the mower just road over with out cutting; however, if you stop the mower right on top of these weeds and let the blades spin, the super-tall weeds will be cut.
One reviewer stated that if you let your grass grow longer than 3 inches that this reel mower will not cut grass that tall. Other reviewers said, the weak spot is the handle. It's tube aluminum, I bent both handles forward when I was mowing and it's no longer usable. Again, 80% of the people who bought this reel lawn mower are satisfied with the results and would recommend it to a friend if their yard was suitable (small) for a smaller reel mower.
I would recommend wearing leather gardening gloves to protect the hands when pushing the mower. I highly recommend the mower. It does a great job at a very reasonable cost.
